If there is one thing most true that could be said about all kings throughout Scripture, it’s this: All died. Except one king, of course. Jesus didn’t die, but rose again – establishing His reign that has no successor and has no possibility of defeat. On this Easter Sunday, we look into the Tomb with the women in Matthew 28 and contemplate this event for ourselves as those who live in the Kingdom of God. What does His resurrection mean for us? And what sort of people are brought-in close to this King Jesus?
